The Gaskov Clergé Foundation

The Gaskov Clergé Foundation (GCF) was founded in May 1999, shortly after the death of Gaskov Clergé. Gaskov Clergé, a Ph.D. candidate in Microbiology at Howard University, was hospitalized on Saturday, March 6, and died on Sunday, March 7, 1999 of liver cancer. His sudden and tragic departure left a void in the lives of many of his family and friends. In order to perpetuate his legacy and to honor his memory, Gaskov's family and friends established a non-profit organization in his name that is committed to empowering individuals throughout The United States and Haiti.

GCF NY Annual Award & Commemorative Gala

The Gaskov Clergé Foundation (GCF) Annual Award & Commemorative Gala will be held on April 9, 2011 at the prestigious Coral House in Baldwin NY from 8:00 PM - 1:00 AM

At our annual gala, GCF will honor grassroot organizations and individuals instrumental in the restoration of Haiti following the devastating earthquake on January 12, 2010. All proceeds from the evening will go towards our Brick Fund Campaign and the building of a modern medical center in Haiti. For more information on this important campaign, please visit our website
